Litigation and dispute resolution
Tim has appeared as counsel in many matters before the District and Supreme Court such as:
- matters related to insolvency of corporations (in particular, applications to set aside statutory demands – see Hannans Reward Ltd v Avalon Minerals Ltd [2016] WASC 130
- applications for judicial review – see Forrest & Forrest Pty Ltd v Minister for Mines and Petroleum [2016] WASC 270
- claim for beneficial interest in property arising from a defacto relationship - see Silvester v Sands [2004] WASC 266
- claim for premium due under workers’ compensation policy – GIO General Insurance Ltd v Mammoth Investments Pty Ltd [2005] WADC 91 and on appeal as junior counsel in Mammoth Investments Pty Ltd v GIO General Insurance Ltd [2006] WASCA 34
