Mining Warden's Court

Tim’s first case before a Warden was as instructing solicitor in Craig v Spargos Exploration NL, (Kalgoorlie Warden’s Court, 22 December 1986). Since then Tim has been involved as instructing solicitor and counsel in many warden’s court matters. He has considerable experience in matters under the Mining Act 1978 (WA) dealing with:

  • Applications for mining tenements and objections thereto
  • Applications for exemption and objections thereto
  • Applications for forfeiture, acting for applicants and respondent tenement holders
  • Objections to survey
  • Applications for restoration and objections thereto
  • Applications for injunctions before the Warden’s Court
  • Applications for compensation
  • Taxation of costs
